We recently had the pleasure of hosting a couple from New York on their honeymoon - wow someone from the Big Apple choosing to come to New Zealand as their honeymoon destination when they have all the world to choose from.
They chose New Zealand because of it's natural beauty and a family tie going back to a grandmother on the brides side.
They could not have been more positive on the beauty of our country - "it's just so beautiful and we are trying to work out how we can either get to come back for another holiday or to try to get jobs that will allow us to live and work here"
You could not get greater compliments - our countries natural beauty is something we should look after and be proud of.
