Our last honeymooners of the season were with us a month or so ago and they were quite different in many ways. Honeymooners we normally meet are under 35 - they guys were a little older. They were second marriages for both and they were not getting over the stress that comes with preparation for a wedding - these guys were very much loving being in New Zealand.
They loved the beach and loved walking to a cafe for coffee - they had all the time in the world.
What had caught the attention most notably about New Zealand and Waihi Beach was the natural beauty, the freshness of the food they sampled and the friendliness of the people they met.
Whilst here they went up the Coromandel Peninsular to check out the beauty of the beaches - they loved checking out Onemana & Opoutere and they marvelled at the varing vegetation from rolling hills to forestry etc.
This trip of a lifetime was well worth it and these guys were already talking about coming back for a second look at Aotearoa.
