German Honeymooners

Posted by Greg Whyte on 14 February 2016

And still they keep coming - honeymooners from Germany coming to New Zealand to see first hand our natural beauty and experience the warmness New Zealanders have to offer.

Our recent honeymooners were married in the second half of 2015 but held off taking their honeymoon until our summer to make the most of 4 weeks in New Zealand.

They had wonderful memories of time in Doubtful Sound and the Abel Tasman National Park. They had walked some of the Tongariro Crossing and they were in the last days of their honeymoon when the arrived at Waihi Beach  keen to explore the local area.

They walked the beach and were amazed at the lack of people and enjoyed Bowentown heads. They spent a day touring the Coromandel. They had a wonderful time exploring little known beaches like Opoutere and seeing the natural beauty of Cathedral Cove.

They enjoyed themselves so much they were talking about coming again butonly  after they had visited a few other countries on their bucket list.
