This group are riders from the UK who are spending several weeks in New Zealand touring our roads and sampling what we have on offer - everything from cafes to pubs and shops that catch their eye to a variety of tourist attractions.
Yesterday they visited Hobbiton taking in Matamata and Tirau along the way.
They also visited the Bugger cafe in Tirau - which they enjoyed tremendously - the name catches you and you have to go in and see what it's about for yourself.
They are doing the world famous Coromandel Loop today - this is one of the top 10 rides in the world according to motor bike officinados - be interesting to get their feedback .Based on past reports from other guests doing the same trip I would not be surprised if this group will have big smiles on their faces when they return.
One of the interesting things for us hosting these riders is to see how little gear these couples actually exist on for clothes, toiletries etc remembering they have to carry it in their saddle bags and lots of room there isn't - as travellers we could all learn from them how to pack light..
