Following our recent guests from Belgium we had 2 couples travelling together from France and what a pleasure it was despite the language barrier. With their limited English and our school boy/girl French we engaged in many conversations about New Zealand ranging from tourists attractions they were going to see to the state of the economy and where had we been in France. Additionally we had the help of Google translate - a free download on my iphone and it worked a treat - what a great help - the application is so useful.
Our guests visited the eastern side of the Coromandel and spent a day in the Karangahake gorge as well as visiting the martha goldmine.
Many shots were taken of Waihi Beach both in the morning at at night - "tres beautiful" was the comment.
Additionally we have to send them recipes of Ali's muffins and Greg's limoncello - both sampled and enjoyed by all.
